Buy an aircraft

The right Cirrus, found and represented.

Tell us the mission, the budget and how you fly. Ovation searches the open market and the aircraft that never reach it, then represents you through records review, inspection, negotiation and closing.

How an acquisition runs

Seven milestones, one broker.

  1. 01

    Qualification

A conversation about mission, budget, pilot status and timing. Before offers are made, buyer qualification and proof of funds or financing are confirmed through a secure process.

  2. 02

    Signed engagement

A written agency agreement defining scope, the success fee and how third-party costs are handled.

  3. 03

    Shortlist

Aircraft identified by registration and serial number, listed and unlisted, compared against your mission.

  4. 04

    Due diligence

Logbooks, maintenance status, damage history, lien and title status, FAA Form 337 records and airworthiness documentation, reviewed with qualified professionals.

  5. 05

    Purchase agreement and escrow

Negotiation, a purchase agreement reviewed by your counsel, and title and escrow coordination.

  6. 06

    Pre-buy inspection

An independent inspection at a facility that knows the type. Findings negotiated, not ignored.

  7. 07

    Closing and onboarding

Funds, title and delivery, then insurance, training and management introductions for your first months.

Milestones will be tracked in My Ovation when the portal opens. Until then your Ovation broker keeps you current directly.
